About the Site

Foo <jargon> A sample name for anything. Dictionary.com isn’t sure where foo came from but I used it as one of my dummy variables (”foo” and “bar”) in college. Friend of mine was trying to come up with a domain name that would encompass everything she is. I started spitting out ideas and then she said “digital art stuff” and I said “digifoo.” Well, it was more me than her, she said. I did a quick search on Google for it and nothing came up. Then I get this site all up and stuff, then do a search again and there’s all this conference called “digi foo.” I knew it was too good a name not to be already used.

About the Area
